Martua Sitorus born 49 years ago in Siantar, North Sumatra, Indonesia. He earned his economics degree from the University HKBP Nommensen, Medan. When he was a child, he was known as Hap Seng Thio, and also known as the A Hok.
Martua Sitorus started his business career as a palm oil trader in Indonesia, and Singapore. In 1991 Martua success to have his own oil palm plantation area of 7100 hectares in North Sumatra. In the same year, Martua Sitorus could build a plant palm oil processing.
